We were delighted to be invited to Atlantic Technological University St. Angela’s Collegeto deliver a workshop on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with children, young people, and adolescents. The session focused on the central role of family support, the importance of flexible, tailored interventions, and keeping therapy truly child-centred.
We also introduced my children’s book, Leo Roars, a creative CBT-based story designed to help young people understand and manage panic attacks. The workshop offered students practical applications of CBT, showing how evidence-based strategies can be adapted in innovative and accessible ways to support children’s mental health.
